Squinge, apart from look cute, what does the sparkle actually do on the home grown foods?

The sparkle effect you see on meals (single and group) is from cooking with fresh vegetables that were grown by your Sims on their lots. These meals (with sparkles) boosts your Sims' hunger needs significantly.

This is with Seasons. If you don't have Seasons, you won't get the sparkling meals or grow vegetables to stock your fridge with and use them to cook your meals with.

thanks a lot.   I just got seasons and I noticed the food was glowing,  I didn't know if it was spoiled food or what.   Grin     Good hack.
