My werewolves aren't furry -- why?

I've seen a few werewolf Sims created by Maxis, and even turned neighbours into werewolves and they've turned into the furry/hairy stereotypical werewolf.

But my controlled Sims don't do this. Every night at 8pm-6am they do turn, but they stay looking just general except for the "werewolf walk."

What's up with this? Is it normal, or are my Sims not changing right?

Does your Sim have a custom skintone?  If so, the werewolf "mask" won't show up.  They're still wolfies, but they won't look like one.

There's a mod to fix that on MATY, but I don't have the link handy at the moment. I'll track it down when I get home from work and post a link here.
