I downloaded a lot that seems to be crashing my game but I don't know where or how to find it to delete it.  Anyone know where to look or how?

It should be in the lot bin, or do you mean how do you find it outside of the game?

Look in The Sims 2\LotCatalog using Windows Explorer.  Switch the view to Details and sort on Date.  Then it's just a matter of trial and error to find the right lot.

Thanks Ancienthighway.  I looked in the log catalog and in the teleport file but it was all greek to me.  If I do a date sort then I can probably find the culprit.

I appreciate the help you two.  If I can actually get back into my game without it crashing, I might could do it ingame.  But I was just hoping to ditch it in the files.

You can view the catalog with the Clean installer and if you know how the house looks like, you`ll identify it by its thumbnail and delete.

That's a good idea - I had never thought of that. Thanks, Dinki! I learn something new every day.

By "Clean Installer", do you mean the "Sims2Pack" thing?
