I tried recoloring a Maxis mesh and, for some reason, the skintone of the outfit is darker than my Sims' actual skintone (I hope that made sense):



Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Here's what the recolor & alpha look like, if it helps:

The Sim pictured is not using a mask, but a custom skintone that I made. I shall try editing (or possibly recreating) the skintone to see if that helps.
