I've made my first useable object for the Sims, it's a babies crib but I've no idea how to make the animation for the front rail. Could someone please explain how to do it? Or provide me with a link to a tutorial on how to do so?

Thanks!

I've found some tutorials at MTS2 and I've downloaded the Mesh Tool, but it keeps crashing with the message 'Run-time error "9"' when I click on GMDC View.

Can anyone help please?

Which 3d programme are you using?

I suggest using WesH unimesh plugin.

The gates are made up of 3 (I think) morphs..for the different heights.

I did one for Sandy a while back but she used the original gate.

I had the same runtime error with the mesh tool too at times.

start with the original mesh(one that worked with the right animations)
Then import your own mesh, fix the groupnames/comments/bones etc etc and delete the original mesh when done.
Export it and see if it works.
