cannot download sims! please help!!

ok I was trying to download the sims from this website that other peole made and this error popped up sayin "This content requires Expansion Pack data that is not installed". What pack are they talking about?? I need help please!!

you don't have the required EP. try installing with Clean Installer

junin, i've heard of the clean installer but what exactly is it? how do you use it? does it come with the game, or do i installing is personally? can someone help me out?

Clean Installer can be found here.  c:  I'm not sure about how it works anymore, but I think it automatically associates itself with package files so you don't have to worry about any extra work...but I could be wrong.

thanks for the link! i'll definitely check it out. so tell me, am i getting this right?..when i download like house from here witha bunch of cc. i don't have to worry about downloading the stuff form the links? it'll just come with it?

I am not sure if I am understanding your question but Clean installer allows you to install lots/houses made with an EP you don't have. You still must make sure you have the CC meshes in your game if they are needed. So if it The good thing is that if you don't have them, clean Installer allows you to leave them out by un-checking them. It also allows you to leave out any hacks or sim families that may have been included with the lot. It does so much more than this just read about it from the site. It is really a must have for downloaders. I hope this helps.
