There is a mod that will allow you to park your car at a residential lot in the street.  I believe it's on MTS2.

You have to take advantage of a quirk with the game to get curbside parking. It's actually quite easy to do. As a matter of fact, I wrote a tutorial for it, for someone else, a long while back. Here's the link:

Sideways/On the Street Parking, by Comicalmuse.

Comicalmuse - You say that once you do it, all driveways are affected. Do you mean only on that lot or in the entire neighborhood? I noticed that the driveway you placed is actually partially on the lot across the street, so I wasn't sure what you meant.

Rogue,
Only for that lot. I guess I should make a note of that in the tutorial, just so I don't end up confusing anyone else.

*sneaks back into tutorial post*

...and I sure, do, ancient. That strange fellow still owes me $40. Tongue

*nods* Yup, it still works.

The only issue I've experienced so far since installing Seasons is Sims whine and moan about their path being blocked when trying to get into custom cars parked curbside. They then walk away, walk back to the car, and get in without a problem. Not really a big deal in my book.

...Oh, and you're welcome, Rogue.

Thank you!  I've got some houses (the ones in the new Seasons 'hood, naturally) with no room for driveways!
