Tonight, when i have downloaded a sim, when i have tried to install it, it comes up with this message

When i then installed Clean Installer, it says that the downloads that i had downloaded where empty packages. Is this anything wrong with my game or should i just download them again?

If the file you downloaded is a .package file you simply need to put it in the downloads folder.  Only .sims2pack needs to be install.

If it was a .sims2pack file then redownload it.
