I installed Bon Voyage last night, got on, and freaked. I have all my bodyshop downloads, no hacks, but all my custom cars and objects are gone. I can't find them at all, I even made sure they were in my folder, they were, but I want them back. Any suggestions?

Check to see if custom content is enabled in your game.

It is...I made sure of that, too. Thanks for the suggestion, anyway! Wink

You did reboot after enabling CC, right?
Options / Game Options / Catalog display CC on?

All my cars and other objects are in the catalog as expected.

Yes...but I don't *think* I did the catalog CC thing. I'll check, then see if it works after rebooting.

Thanks!

Often a new ep installation will reset your gameplay settings so indeed make sure the "pop-up" asking to enable or disable cc is still check to enable when you start the game.

If not, check it, quit and restart.

Thanks, I'll do a triple check, then see what happens!

It didn't work...Some of my Maxis items are flashing blue and black, too. I think it's because I left the Insimenator on the lots...Oops!

I'll see what happens when I restart it.

Make sure to remove the Insim, it is not BV compatible yet.

Flashing black and blue cc means the mesh might need update.

Let us know, Everythign on mine is fine now. I had a bodyshop related scare but then I remember to remove all accessories from game and what a time that was but after that my sims were ok, I just had to chg appearance and chg clothing. I changed the insiminater to the OBJ version.

I took the actual download out before installation, but left the objects on some of the lots. I'll remove it, and see what happens.

Jaccirocker, again the insim is NOT BV compatible, leave it in at your own risk.

Same applies for the Inteen and many other mods, they will need updating.

My game is currently hack-free. Took it all out before, but my things still aren't there. Maybe the cars aren't BV compatible.

Having or not having the InSIMenator in the game, or any adjusters on the lot shouldn't make any difference on custom objects showing up in the catalog (I put in and take out InSIM (SIM) 2.6b depending on what I'm doing at the moment.

Just to summarize what I've seen:
1.  Installed BV
2.  Enabled CC
3.  Restarted game.
4.  Confirmed Catalog displays CC.
5.  Confirmed custom objects are in My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads.

ETA:
InTeen WILL NOT work in BV.  Not at all.  Don't even try if you value your neighborhood.

You got it right. I'm hoping my sister will restart it again soon. Then we'll see what happens
