Huge Game Problem! Help please!

Um...I just started playing sims and for some reason I can't save my game, go to the neighborhood, go to work, or quit the game. Also, I think i pushed a button on the keyboard that compleatly got rid of the control panel and has made my game screen go compleatly blue... what happened and is there any way to fix it?:worship:

If I were you, I think I'd remove the game and re-install it and start over, especially since you say you started only recently. If you remove it, you might want to also use the regedit tool to clear the old Sims stuff off your registry.

okay...so I fixed the problem with the control panel missing, but I still can't save the game or do any of the things i listed in my first sentence. Is re-installing the game really my only option?
