My person got really old for no reason

ok so i brought my person back home from his vacation home and when u got back he turned into a elder i just made that family and some how his days left got all maxed and since insim is being updated i cant use it to get him to his age . is there a way to fix this?

Enable testing cheats and Spawn the Sim Modder Cheat. Sim Modder will allow you to change the age of your sim.
ctrl-shift-c for cheat window
enter boolprop testingcheatsenabled true
shift click on a sim and select spawn
