GameSpot reviewed Bon Voyage and gave it a fairly good score of 7.5 out of 10. With the review also came 23 pics, which may be interesting for those still without the game.

I heard that you can't follow sims on tours, but it would have been nice if Maxis allowed snap shots of the tour to appear in the "Event Screen" or "Picture-in-Picture" window. Even if we can't CONTROL sims while on tour, it would have been nice to see what goes on, on the tours.

You know what might have been nice for tours?  After the chance card pops up and we make our selection, a cinematic happens that shows our sims being affected by our choice.  If they can play a cinematic every time our Sims get engaged, married, move in, go to college, have a baby, etc, they could do that too.  If the computers graphic can't handle it, then it's turned off.  But, I would have loved to see my Simmie's face when that rope broke parasailing.  LMAO!

Just found this review at snootysims.

BV Review
Here's another Bon Voyage review. Gamezone.com gave a low 6.8 rating. The interesting thing is that the reason for that is mostly because they think Maxis has disregarded the modding community.

It's actually nice to see the mags dissing Maxis and supporting the CC community (not that they will ever pay attention to negative reviews).
