Here is my contribution for the day.

One of my Only "Starter Homes"
It's a 2x2 lot, and almost unfurnished, but there are 2 floors, a (nother underground) garage, 2 bedrooms, a kitchen/dining room, and a living room/den. and lots of room for expantion when the funds and family grows.

as it turns out I wound up including, a stair recolor by http://www.modthesims2.com/member.php?u=4407">Numenor, that I was not aware of (no *) untill I exported and ran it in CleanInstaller. The rest of the decor was mine. I used these to keep the cost down as low as I could.

I went with a wooden tone and look and there for called it a cabin not a house Wink

I need to make more floor and wall coverings to keep the varity going, but for now this is what I have, I felt bad enough including what I have, its hard to keep the costs down. and for some reason I desided to try for the nicest starter home I could. a rather new experiance for me.
I am used to making huge houses, on big lots. but not every sim can afford such a thing, at least not at first, and some never.

as I said it is mostly unfurnished but you will have over $6000 left to fix it up before you start working.

there is also room to put in a bathroom in the master bedroom area or something else if you like =)
my idea for that would be like picture 4 (not in the actual house)
or if you are single then prehapts turn one of the b-rooms into a hot tub room, or game room, I also considered putting a hot tum on the roof, but will need more stairs for that Wink

I just realized that not only did i not put windows but also no lights, but these are not critical and will only help keep your bills lower heh

thank you very much guys =)
I have been using the underground garage alot lately because it's the only way I can connect it to the house and still have a basement(foundation). again if anyone has another idea for how I would love to hear it Wink variety is the spice and all.

this is the part of the game I love the best. my dad was a wanna be archetect turned draftsman/engenier so I guess it runs in the family. and to be able to share them with others makes me a happy camper, I live for making people smile 8^D

well probably (as usually tends to be the case) everything I had at the time, so I am guessing up to pets, but I can't say for certain

other than the tendou house I usually build them for either fun or a need i have so I dont uninstall the other ep's to build, and I am an item whore so i try to keep up to date on the ep's so I can have as many items as possible lol
