Either family won't load or time and sims are stuck!

If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it. I can get my game to load to a neighborhood but when I try to play a family it either keeps loading(I've waited an hour and nothing happens) or I can get to a lot and time and my sims won't move. I've removed all my hacks but it still does the same thing. It played fine the other day and I haven't downloaded anything new.

Try to completely remove your downloads folder to see if the problem still happen.  It is the first thing to do to found out if it is cc content related.

If by moving the downloads to your desktop the problem persist, let us know.  If not, something in there is causing it.
