Invisible accessories in BV

My sims with Temptress piercings, collars and other items such as horns do not show up in BV.  Is this a problem with the new jewelry slots?

If they are found usually under "head accessories" in the mirror, BV jewelry should not affect them. Do they show up in Body Shop?

They show up in body shop list of accessories but not on sim (either while sim is displayed in bodyshop or ingame).  When I select on it does not appear on sim but the box is surrounded by green highlight.

Also, sims that I had packaged with items prior to BV do not properly show the accessories in game, even after re-unpacking them.

I don't have an answer. My "head accessories" all show up on my Sims and are not affected by the new jewelry. Hopefully, someone else can help figure out your problem just short of re-installing BV.
