Updated Oct 7, 2007: I added social needs per request. by chicagobearjoeyp. I also found that my boys version did not keep my setting in the motives of the pie section. I must have forgot to click the commit button. At any rate this one should be more autonomous

I would very much appreciate it if some of you could test this for me and tell me if you find any problmes with it and/or if you like it and would use it.

Toddlers have to crawl under the table to get in the chair. The animations are not perfect but I think it is kinda cute. It is cloned from the high chair and will satisfy the want for a high chair (thanks to Wanda1000 for testing and verifying that for me). Toddlers will learn cooking skills while eating, they can only eat until they are full (thanks to Smithycpl for his testing and suggesting that I set it to stop when they are full). Toddlers will also use it autonomously if their hunger is 90% or less.

This is all one item and fits on one tile. It's found under General/Child. Face count is 2620.  I have tested it with the base game and it is compatible.

I also have a girls version posted here: http://www.simsafe2.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=578
and here: http://www.sims2valley.com/s2vforum/showthread.php?t=35
if you'd like to test that too.

Enjoy!

This photo doesn't show the toddler gaining the cooking skill because she's earned them all already. My first tests I had the setting to fast.

Thanks to Smithycpl, Wanda1000, and Integrity for testing and for their suggestions to help me create a better item.

Hi Rebecah! These look good, and thanks for making them for basegame. Are they gender-specific, or just girl- and boy- because of their colours?

Just because of the colors as I didn't think many would want the pink for boys so I created this one which really would work for both.  Smiley  Funny how boys things also work well for the girls, but girls things usually aren't something you'd want for a boy.

Thanks so much for all the nice comments!  I really appreciate you all taking the time to let me know your impressions.

Hey Rebecah,  I did try this and it doesnt work at all for me the toddlers will go and sit at the table but then they jump off and action gets cancelled. I tried this in several homes with different toddlers and it happens every single time. I have not once been successful at getting any toddler boy or girl to eat at this table. I love your ideas and I love the things you come up with for the toddlers since there my favorites to play with. Thank you for all you do to make my game so much fun.

My twinky you're the only one I've had tell me this so far.  Did you test it with no hacks installed?   I do know insimenator has no conflicts with it.  I wouldn't want to play my game with out it.   Insimenator that is.

Maybe you have another hack that is causing a confict.  What EP's do you have installed?  I did test this with base game and all EP's installed.  It is also possible that you got a corrupt file when you downloaded you could try to redownload and overwrite the one's you have.

I'm sorry it doesn't work for you and if I can help find your problem I'll try.  There is a program you can run to check for hack conflicts.  You may want to try that. It's called:
Sims 2 Hack Conflict Detection Utility
You can find it on http://www.simwardrobe.com/ Under programs for Sims 2.
