HELP! SIMS CRASHING

I decided to download a comunity lot and ever since sims will not start it says sim crashed and will now terminate,
I deleted the file but it still crashes is there anyway of reseting sims wihtout having to reinstall it?

It might be an object which came with the lot. I suggest you use Clean Installer to identify it and delete it. It's really piece of cake if you're comfortable with the Clean Installer.
