Author Topic: All of my cc is gone!  (Read 2282 times)

After i installed Bon Voyage i went to my favorite house and all of the furniture was gone... it was all flashing blue and black and the only cc that was there was the hairs, i didn't check the make up. How do i fix this??

When you install new ep, often it is resetting your settings.  Just make sure when you start the game and the pop-up asking if you want cc custom content to enable or not shows at least once and that it is still set to enable cc.  If at disable, put it back at enable, quit the game and restart it so the change will take place.

Also make sure your downlooad folder is spelled this way:  Downloads
Capital D and the s at the end are important.

If this does not help, you can delete your groups.cache file from your sims 2 folder.

Next time, before you install an EP, try backing up your CC so you dont lose it.

The easy way is to burn your Downloads and Neighborhoods folders to CD or DVD.  You'll find them in My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2.

for me  a lot of things are missing, including hair and clothing. My cc custom content are enabled. I put back my backup Download and neighborhood folders back in to the game. but missing a lot of stuff.
