Do skn (Skantek) and pac (Stad) files still go in the downloads folder? and bac files are to be deleted i do not need them right?

.SKN files are for the original game only (The Sims - no number) - .SKNPROJ files are incompete things in the Projects folder and should not be disturbed - they can be deleted through the Body Shop interface by deleting old projects

.PACKAGE files do go to the downloads folder (but be careful to not move any files from the Projects folder to your Downloads folder - finished projects are saved to SavedSims folder - items in the Projects folder can be deleted through the Body Shop interface by deleting old projects)

.BAC and .BAK files can be safely deleted

I am not sure what .PAC files might be - it is possible that you are seeing the DOS names of these files - the normal DOS naming convention is 8.3 (8 letters for the name, 3 letters for the file-extension); the game uses an extend naming format (long file names) rather than DOS format, so seeing these names in 8.3 format is not a way to help identify what goes where.

What utility are you using to display the files?

none i have another one TXTOVR  pac is called stand ?  I used to have that sims clean installer  but found it useless i kept going to the downloads folder to installll the cc myself.

i still don't understand where the skn go in the downloads.
oh yea i kind don't use bodyshop i don't understand it
(i'm going to find a tutural , but haven found the time)
