Hi this is my first real hack for the game and as such it is still an in test mod till I know that it works properly.
Now the reasoning behind this mod is that after Xenos
http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=94297 did his mod for Nightlife way back in 2005. I sort of continued for my own personal use the work he had done and with great success for me I got all the other aspirations except for the Popularity Aspiration which I chose not to do, to accept being vampires.
Now all went well till Bon Voyage was installed as all of a sudden a weird quirk cropped read

Anyway after much investigation I found what looked to be the culprit in the Seasons wants file there was a line under the EP2Occult / Become Vampire Bad [None] & EP2Occult / Become Vampire Good [None] sections of the file was the line
checkTree (dstring) = CT - Generic Test - Is NOT a Vampire?.
But in the Bon Voyage wants file EP2Occult / Become Vampire Bad [None] & EP2Occult / Become Vampire Good [None] sections of the file was the line
checkTree (dstring) = CT - TEST Sim is Eligible for Vampirism? now this line when used with the mod that I made would make the become vampire want remain unfulfilled even when the sim became a vampire though this seems to though not really sure to apply when there are more than one vampire sim on a residential lot I do not know whether the same would occur on community lots.
So what I did was to use the line from the Seasons wants file and put it in the Bon Voyage wants file and so far no problems have occurred.
Now on to the fun bit I have supplied both files in one .rar file all you need to do is go to your
\EA GAMES\The Sims 2 Bon Voyage\TSData\Res\Wants directory and backup the Wants and Wantrees package files and replace them with the ones in the WantsnWantTrees.rar.
Of important Note you will need University, Nightlife, Open For Business, Pets, Seasons and of course Bon Voyage installed to use the wants.package & WantTrees.package file just to be safe .
That is the easy way, the hard way is to use the .xml files and the latest version of SimPE or the QA version of SimPE which is a later version in the WantsnWantTreexmls.rar. First extract the WantsnWantTreexmls.rar to a temporary directory both lots of .xmls are in there own directories to try and stop confusion, now open the WantTrees.package file with SimPE and find the instance
0x8fe04166 and replace it with the
6D814AFE-00000000-4DD1CDC4-8FE04166.xml.xml notice the .xml.xml use that one not the other commit and save the changes.
Remember to Backup the wants and wantTrees.package files Now open the wants.package file and look for EP2Occult / Become Vampire Bad [None] and replace with the Become Vampire Bad.xml.xml then find (should be right underneath the other one) EP2Occult / Become Vampire Good [None] and replace with the Become Vampire Good.xml.xml commit the changes and save.
And the last way is to go through the wantTrees.package file with SimPE bit by bit and change how you would like this is a long and potentially dangerous process as any wrong changes could have undesirable consequences. And with the wants.package file have supplied a .txt file to show you what the changes are.
Hopefully my instructions make sense but I do not guarantee any of the files and changes so use at your own risk.
