I prefer Free Will ON also. It seemed too much to click on the toilet and tell them to go.

I usually play with Freewill off. I always had it on, but since I started contests I discovered the joys of having sims that don't walk up 3 stairs to pick up the baby, after which they put it on the floor to walk the 3 stairs down again, finally going to the toilet which I directed them to.
But I'm planning on getting ACR when I clean out my game again, so when I have that it'll have to be on, otherwise I can't enjoy the mod. ^^

Why can't life be like The Sims, where you can control someone with just one click?

I always have free will on, I'm micromanaged enough at work, can't face giving the same torture to my sims! They just look so sad if I have it off, just standing around staring at me .....

Things worked out fine for me when I turned Free Will on.
I'm not the micromanaging type.

I play with Free Will on, but I don't give my sims much freedom.  Even with free will on, I still control most of their actions.

Off, all the time.
I'm a control freak and my sims are morons, haha.  I need to make sure my sims are happy and marry the right people then have the right number of babies and everything is by my hand!  Grin

I'm a control freak also.  I hate the stupid things sims do with free will turned on, like bogarting musical instruments and being obsessed with kicky bag.  I don't trust sims with less than 3 cooking skill points with a stove.
