There has to be a hack that enables us to determine the pregnant sim's baby's gender, right?

I've heard of the whole save before birth and quit and all. But, is there just a simple mod/hack for it?
Thanks

no there isn't and there won't be because it is hard coded into the game, which means a hack will not work.

this like the 4th most asked question in the history of the game... *sigh*  I wish EA would put a big flourescent sticker on the box, something like this should do the trick:

Well, there's some "rules" that sometimes works for certain people. In my game, if they have the same number of girls and boys living on the lot, twins are almost always one of each. And often if it's more girls or boys, the next baby will be the other gender. (like if there's three boys and two girls - the new baby is a girl, or the new twins are both girls). It usually happens like this in my game, but I can't trust it completely. It's something about the game evening out the number of boys and girls. But it may work different in other people's games.

Best I have found is the tried and tested method of saving before having the baby. I now it can be a pain having to restart all the time, but if you really want a boy or girl it seems to be the only way to do it.
