It's possible to fire your maid and then call a new maid to get another maid, such as a male or female if you have a preference, but is it possible to get another paperboy/girl or mailman/woman to come?

You could move the mailman/maid into a lot with a sim you don't play, then the game would generate a new one. *shrugs* That's the only way I can think of getting a new one without borking your game.

Since you are not paying for those services like you are for maid and gardening for example it is not possible to choose a paperboy or mailman.

Skullbunny suggestion is the one to follow if you want a new one but you won't be able to chose which.

I just thought that another way could be to move them into a new house, it is not a 100% sure you will have a new one that way but it is possible.

Well you could use SimPE sim surgery to change the way they look. You would have to unlock the NPC outfits and then create a sim in CAS that looked like you wanted and then use Sim Surgery to replace them. That's the way I do it. It's a pain but at least they. Though my maids keep reverting back to their old hair and I have to make them take a shower or go swimming and they change bac to the new hair.
