Is there a way to fix the problem I have with my legacy house where it loads forever? I recently reinstalled the entire game (because Celebration stuff screwed it all up) and I haven't played the family since I reinstalled. How can I fix this besides moving them out? I don't want to because I'll lose the graves in the attic.

Can you load any other lots just fine?

Delete your groups.cache file and try to load the lot again to see if it will fix it.

If it does not help, try to remove your downloads folder in case it is a cc issue and try to load the lot without any cc in.

Well, it's neither a groups.cache or a cc issue. Doing what you suggested doesn't help.

Enable the debug cheat (Ctrl + Shift + C, then type boolprop testincheatsenabled true) after your game finishes loading, then try entering a lot.  If an error box pops up, make note of the name and location of the error log, then select "Delete".  If another error pops up, just repeat the above.  You should be able to get into the lot afterwards.  Wink

As for the error log, look for it in your C:\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Logs folder, and attach it to your post.  I'm sure someone can decipher what might be up after taking a look at the error log.
