Today it's been 16 years since my oldest brother died. He was my best friend when I was little, so it truly hurt to loose him, even if I was very young when he got sick. I miss him a lot, but I know he's always with me in my heart (just like my grandmother, who passed away not long ago).

I've learned to live with the loss, but it's extra hard those special days - especially this day, his birthday and christmas. There's always this feeling that someone is missing - even if it's so long ago.

just wanted to post a little update on my school assignment. It's not ready yet - but I'm getting there, at least (the picture is somewhat bad quality, though... and the curtains are meant to be the same color as the canopy on the bed - I've only got a week left, so I hope I can manage to finish it...)
