This is not exacty sims related - but I wanted to show you what I've been doing the past three weeks at school (which is to say the reason I've not had much time for playing sims, since I've mostly come home around somewhere between 4 and 7PM every day....) Cheesy

the alien world/alien I did just for fun while we were learning a new tool...

This was one of the week assignments we got - and it's actually very similar to the model we were working from Cheesy

And this is practice for our first oblig assignment - making interior/exterior for a house. I'm just having fun making little details and such Cheesy

the bananas do need a bit of work still, though...

from knowing nothing about 3D to this in only three weeks... I think it's good Cheesy

I'm still not sure what I want to continue with after this year - but I really want to work with 3D movies of some form.

You seem to be learning 3D quite quickly. Looks good.

jut a couple more pictures form school Smiley
right now we're learning how to texture the meshes for real (and not just color the meshes like I did on those other pictues...)

I think that thing in the background is very IKEA inspired...

my 3D livingroom with almost finished texturing Cheesy
as you can see, I finally managed to make the bananas look more like bananas...

and the wine glasses actually looks like glass now Smiley

This thing was not as simple as it looks like... the texture was a pain - until I finally understood how on earth I was supposed to do it... besides - photoshop kept crashing when I opened more than one file...

putting it in my scene Smiley

(and now - walking off to finish some of the pics for my story...)

This is Tony's room (from my newest story). He got really tired of his blue "bee-themed" room, especially since he's thirteen now... He wanted a real teenager room instead, so the family cleared out a room on the first floor they almost never used anyway, and redecorated it for him. His old room is ready for Aidan to move into when he's a bit older.

And here's Lily's future room.
the good thing about her room, is that it's quite easy to change all the colors when she tires of pink

oh, and a few more 3D pics Cheesy

(guess who managed to peel a banana Cheesy)

oh, and now the glasses really look like glass... they've even got wine in tthem Wink

aww, thanks Smiley

I've got the ingame graphics on (too) high... My laptop is ridiculously slow. That's why I never use shadows on, and I also try to avoid mirrors. Gotta save some computer power somewhere... doing photoshoots with bad graphics is not something I want to do. I just hope I can afford a new and better computer soon - especially now since I've started 3D animation. It's no use to try making 3D objects on my laptop, since it's too freakin' slow... even the much more powerful computers we use at school have troubles with 3D textures...

and I also use gadwin printscreen (in combination with resizing + sharpening in photoshop) instead of ingame C-button pics. It gives me much more freedom when it comes to cropping the pictures, so if the camera won't do what I say, I can adjust the picture much more when I take it into photoshop. Sharpening the ingame pictures is no use, since they're too blurry form the start, no matter how high settings. And if I do use the C-button pics, I use the largest picture size.

He's one of the Brooks family's pets (from Little Fire burning), and his name is Penguin (Tony named him that...).

I always find him dead in his cage when I'm halfway through a photoshoot. Good thing I never save my
game when photoshooting...
