Problem looking for job

Hi all
I've searched the site but found nothing on this.
I have absolutely no hacks or cc, but on the family i'm playing right now, the mom will get weird look for job options.
She only gets 2 on the newspaper and only 4 on the computer.
Do you have any idea what may be causing this?

I have all expansion packs and stuff packs.

Usually when you have only a couple job options in the paper as opposed to the regular 3, the job that's not showing up is a college graduate job. If she didn't graduate from college, then you won't see the jobs.

Also, when a sim is told to look for a job, picks up the newspaper, flips through it and puts it down, that's usually a nasty phone or computer hack, right?

Not necessarily.  It could be all three jobs listed require a college degree and the job searcher doesn't have a degree.
