Well.....here she is Smiley

Long story, i love USA Fords, especially the 1969 Mustang sportsroof but couldn't find a 3d model of one(for free that is.)
So i decided to go for another beauty, The T Bird.
Wasn't smart as it was my very first object and had to figure out so many things.

The mesh contains a 3d model of a 64 bird wich i found on the net and was free
But it wasn't such a good mesh and a closed kinda boring car.
Chopped of the roof and made a custom interieur, all except the seats are new, panels/colum/console/dash etc etc.
Also found some custom rims on the net that look pretty neat on it.
I can tell you, meshing from scratch is difficult and time consuming.
I did alot splitting up, to get the chrome seperated, made the uvmaps and more, to much to list down.

The package is based on the hunka sportscar but the first thing i did was changing the sound, i used the smooga minima sound because it sounded more like a V8 engine.
I also changed alot material settings and added some files and such to get nice looking chrome parts.
I never textured a object before and had a hard time starting but thanks to our well known
Wizzard Yakov i got things figured out quickly.
He also redid the License plate and the speedometer as i screwed them up earlier and he converted the rims to a format that i could import into milkshape.
Thank you so much M8, you and Ju are my 2 gods in Sims Land Smiley

The car is not original, far from..... thats why i called it Custom, hehe
And..... i did give up on texturing to early(got bored)
But....... it does come with alot color options Cheesy
The car has 12 Paintcolors and 6 diffrent interieurs, so thats alot combinations together
Blooms_1964CustomFordThunderbird.rar comes with the yellow car and the brown interieur.
This package contains the mesh that you will need to have the car ingame
The coloroptions.rar contains only all the recolors.
When ingame, put a car first on the lot, then choose the interieur color with the designe key, works alot easier.

There are no animations for sims when they make out or Woohoo, they simply fade out and fade in but i did manage to keep the Car animations.(Without the foggy windows)
I didn't like the stupid car jump on the end of the woohoo animation so i changed those to the making out anime.

This is a higher polygon mesh, 16736 to be exact.
Not extreem but twice as high as a normal maxis car but still acceptable in my opinion(there are 20.000/30.000 poly cars arround....)
But if your on a crappy comp, dont get frustrated if your suffering lag with it Wink

Issue's:
The grill and side moldings do glitch at far distance, you can fiddle with smoothing edges if you have a powerfull comp to make it less.
The chrome can look diffrent, depending wat videocard you running.

Note:
I do not want to see this mesh(including parts)and/or recolors on other sites!!!!
Its Insimenator.net exclusive!!!!

beosboxboy, for helping me out with the textures, Thank you so much!!!

You need the Nightlife EP to have this car working ingame!!!!
