As for me:

1. Organize my downloads folder.
2. Delete CC i don't use.
3. PLAY MORE!
4. Start a Legacy Family
5. Write Legacy Family story
6. Don't join more than 2 contests at the same time

So what's YOUR TS2 New Year's resolutions?

Gosh... a few of those items from both of yours sound like some of what I plan to do.

1.  Save up money for gaming PC
2.  Attempt experimentation in 3D Meshing
3.  Start my long-planned Sims story
4.  Take the rest of the pictures that I planned in 2007 ASAP ()
5.  Clear out Downloads folder and start over
6.  Try not to over-download when I'm bored
7.  Attempt to NOT destroy my laptop when game crashes/screws up

There's more, but my nephew is causing some trouble right now.  I'll get back to this list a little later.

I am feeling all your resolutions. LOL! ^^

1. I want to try and learn to mesh and recolor.
2. Clean out my download folder and hope it improves gameplay.
3. Remove or move families I don't play and have no interest in my game.
4. Stop filling up my neighborhoods with new families.
5. Be more satisfied with my own creations, no more belittling myself Cheesy

1. Play more. Like, actually play, not just get in game and stare at my sims for half an hour.
2. Don't cheat so much.
3. Stop downloading so much.
4. Have better time management when it comes to contests (that probably applies to the rest of my life, too...)
5. Take more pictures
6. I'd like to host a contest, maybe in the summer.
7. Stop jumping in holes and eat less popcorn.

1. to play properly! I never finish a generation in ANY of my families.
2. Clean out my downloads folder and try to use mostly maxi's contest for furniture (except the prettiest couches! and counters. I love my counters)
3. Start to upload more clothes/celeb sims
4. Host a contest! And do a good job...

That's about it! Cheesy

2. Clear out all the clothes and furniture and recolours I don't use
3. Take a Sim through university without cheats <_<
4. Explore the game more
5. Learn to mesh and recolou
6. Learn to create mods
7. Create a legacy family or generally a nice big Sims story

4. Get more uploads to MTS2!
5. Somehow manage to successfully rotate between Sims 2 and Spore when it comes out.

1. Create, create, create.
2. Make serious attempts at meshing.
3. Create at least one story thread (probably not on this forum though, as it's practically impossible for me to keep within the PG13 constraints of this forum. LOL!)
4. Attempt more challenges...

Oeh, I like your ideas, everybody!

#1. Clean out my neighborhoods, and try to stick to a few families, instead of having them all have babies and then creating a new family again.
#2. Hosting a contest (when I actually have time).
#3. Keep to my no cc rule, and buy the new EP and SP's.
#4. Don't buy The Sims 3.
#5. Try to save money to be able to get a better pc.
#6. Don't enter contests when I'm afraid I won't have time to finish. Oh and, don't drop out of a contest again. Had to do it once, and I hate dropping.
#7. Lastly, one that I've seen a lot already: Make time to actually play, instead of taking pics for contests and closing the game again.

Why can't life be like The Sims, where you can control someone with just one click?

1. Delete old neighbourhoods with body meshes I don't use anymore.
2. Delete downloads that I never use (If I can find them lolz)
3. Save up to help my dad get me a new motherboard and graphics card.
4. Consentrate more on my GCSE's instead of the sims 2.
5. Go for a contest.
6. Find out how to make clothes.
7. Try and improve my contest photoshopping. (It annoys me when I am not as good as someone lolz)
