Changing LAst Name

Can you change the last name of your sim? I tried with Insimenator but it only lets you change the first, unless i did it wrong. I didnt realized i had the girl marry the guy, now he lost the family name...uggg, is there a way to get it back? I dont want alot of extra memories if possible.

You can use Simpe.  Tools > Neighborhood Browser and open your Neighborhood.  Then Tools > Neighborhood > Sim Browser > Open your sim.  In the Plugin view, his name and surname will be shown.  Just change the surname, commit and save.  All done :angel:

Well I dont know about changing surnames, I dont know whether you know but when you get married you can pick which surname you want, it's from Mod the sims 2, I would give you the link but MTS2 is offline for maintenance atm...but later type modthesims2 name chooser in google and it should be the first one. But other than that I dont know about changing the surname just yet....sorry.

Okay, Where do i find Simpe? I take it , its some kind of program i need to download. Thanks..

UPDATE: Okay i found the program, Downloaded. Does my game have to be running to use this?

You're welcome  I very much suggest backing up your neighborhood and reading the Simpe tutorials before you do much more with Simpe.

An easier way to change the surname would be to use Pescado's FSS Lot Debugger (MATY).  You can change names in game with it too.
