I have been using for a while, now I have a problem and maybe someone in the Sim world can answer my question.....I have my servos as normal "human" sims and would like to change their skintone....besides going through SimPe....is there a way I can alter the file that christian made....

I think the servos don't have a special skintone, just a special outfit.  it's possible they have a skintone too, but even if you changed that the outfit would prevent them from looking like a human.

Insimenator can make them look completely human and change their outfits, but it's always the default lite skin tone. The most I can do is give them a tan.
