Tested these meshes on a skintone and discovered a misalignment between the top and bottom meshes where they meet.

Needs to be fixed before applying to skintones. Marvine, BeosBoxBoy or Bloom can help you with this.

This is really strange because it doesn't show up that way at all in BodyShop.  If I changed the top to the SlimBB, then I get a gap very similar to what you pictured.  But with the LeanBB top and bottom, mine meet smoothly.

I'm about to go in-game and check it out.

The true nude state will not show in bodyshop.

The picture above is the elder male. I got to thinking and went back into the game and tried the adult male in the shower and he has NO mismatch. So its something to do with the elder male. I used the Theo binning method to assign these but that process is flawed. Will try reassigning the old method and test these again. I'll let you know.

Hmmm, I didn't notice any problems when I linked the meshes to a skintone. I'll have to check again, but I won't have much time today.

ETA: I'd like to know what hasn't worked with Theo's tool. I've used it lots of times with success, but I'd like to know if I've missed something (quite possible)...

I checked in-game and everything lines up fine for me.  But this mesh was developed specifically for adult males, not elder males, so I don't really know what to say about that.  I have no experience with assigning skintones, so I really don't have much help to offer.

Okay, I started from scratch with a maxis skin and added meshes from there using Theo's color tool and it worked this time. First time I started with an Athletic gal skin and maybe that caused a problem.

I have posted the showerproof Lean BB, Teen Lean BB and Athletic gal combo skins here:

rafaelluik, the muscles you are thinking of here are the external oblique running above the inguinal ligament - also part of the centre portion is comprised by the rectus abdominis and the internal oblique - believe it or not - in antiquity this feature of an athlete's body was called a "love handle", "Hercules' girdle", "lover's girdle", "Apollo's belt" or "hero's belt" -- it was only in 18th century Europe when this kind of body became associated with prisons and the peaants, that the upper class decided the fat rolls of the upper class were "love handles".  Modern people inherit the use "love handles" as a result of class envy, the emerging middle class began taking up the language and mannerisms of the fading aristocratic class, and we have a term "love handle" on modern use that bears nothing in common with it's origin.

It would be very difficult to make this shape work properly in The Sims 2, it would work fine on statuary, but in a an animated mesh it would probably never look right.  I would think it easier and better to make it a highlight of a skin tone.

this is a common problem for animated meshes - we can make perfection in the 3D model software, but it turns to absolute crap when animated.

rafaelluik, I think THIS skintone might have the effect you desire.  It's the most defined external oblique (thanx for the name Beos) I've seen on a sims skin.
