My sims are automatically selecting each other as I click on them it chooses another household member rendering the one I chose useless to move/ instruct!  Urgent help as I am in a few contests!

How many sims do you have selectable?  I don't remember the exact number, but once you exceed it, clicking one sim doesn't necessarily deselect the previous one or may select 2 sims.

With Free Will off, use the Selector from the InSIMenator to select and unselect sims as needed for you picture taking.

Then try to use the hack detection tool found at the sim wardrobe site so you can found which are conflicting.

Also make sure you are using the right version of your mods for the latest ep you have.

I have had this too.  Without editing/changing the mods/hacks there is a temp fix (you have to do it every time).   Just click into buyable mode/ build mode and then return to play mode.  It will deselect the multiple sims selected.   I have had this problem when I had NOTHING except the base game installed.

I have this issue often as well, with only 2-3 sims on a lot.  Press your spacebar to toggle through to the sim you want to select.

I reported this ages ago on an unlimited households thread. Apparently it's a Maxian bug (there's a surprise ), and I have noticed it with even a few playable sims in the household. It can take about half a minute sometimes just to select the sim you want - not even the space bar works all the time angry
