Sim picture help

Can somone please tell me how to make my picture bigger with GIMP 2? i really want to join contests! if you cant help thank for taking te time to look anway!:angel:

Go to Image then click canvas size or scale image then click the chain link symbol to unlock it then put in how big or small u want the pic to be in the width and height. I usually use scale image.

Do you have your pics at Photobucket or something similar?If not,upload them there(copy them from my doc/sims2/neighbourhoods.Chose a neibourhood,copy the pic to a folder you create somewhere-in my doc for instance.then go to Photobucket and upload it there)
.In the tread at Insim you want to put the pic on,you have some symbols over the space of the message.Chose the one before the last,i think it represents mountains and the sun,ckick on it,then paste the Image Code you copied from Photobucket and click OK.Post the reply,your pic should appear.Don't forgett to copy the img.code correctly,even the paranthesis.

I see that you were trying to put the picture up from looking at your original post.  Which photo hosting are you trying to put the picture on?  You have to copy the whole URL of the pic within the Image Tags, not just the image's name.  

The same Image method that vanessa mentioned can be done with attached pictures on InSIM, also.  For example (using your attached pic):



just simply open the picture in a new window (after managing your attachments and previewing your post), copy the whole URL in the address bar, and in your post click on the "Add Image" button, and paste the whole URL in the pop-up box.  Nice pic, BTW.  :angel:

Just in case you may have missed it.  :smile bi:  It's that little box at the top of your browser with the site address in it, but I know you know that already.  :tongue3:  When you open the picture in another window/tab, copy the URL that shows up with it in its address bar.  :angel:

There ya go!    It takes some getting used to, but it's very useful.
