Enable sims to wear the top hat in Formal!

I've been trying to do this for months!! I want to be able to wear the top hat with my formal clothing, so I made a new project of the small black top hat in Everyday Hairstyles and exported in into the game but it didn't show in-game!?! So I deleted that project and made a new one, but before I imported to game I made the amhair_Casual1... the same as the amhair_Swim... same goes for the alpha's but it looks like the amhair_Swim texture is taking on some funky hair mesh and I don't know why :bawl:
Please someone tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thanx.
