Placement of Windows and Doors with hack

I cant even remember the hack I downloaded to be able to place objects off grid. But now that Ive gone in and tried to build, I cant figure out how to place windows and doors. Is there something Im doing wrong? Does anyone know the hack that Im talking about?

You can't place windows and doors properly with a hack that places stuff outside the grid (I'm pretty sure anyway). Do you have See Them2? If that's the hack, it's easy to turn off (one mouse click) otherwise I have no idea.
