For the past few months, my friend DL has been waiting very patiently for a set of freckles that I promised to make. What was holding me up was the fact that there are already lots of freckles out there, including a wonderful set by Alkaloid.
I noticed that a lot of the freckles out there completely disappear on the darker skin tones. Or even worse, the freckles were so pale that they showed up as light spots. I decided to mitigate this by making two slightly different shades -- one for lighter skin tones, the other for darker skin tones. The difference is subtle, but striking.
In each set there are three different levels of "freckliness." The light version has just a few freckles around the bridge of the nose. Medium has more on the nose and across the cheeks. Heavy has more on the nose and cheeks, as well as a few on the forehead. That's the version you see above.
These freckles are categorized under blush, and can be worn with all other make-ups and most other blushes.
