Downloads don't show up...

So I don't know if there is a thread with this already but I didn't want to go through all 400 pages...>.<  I have every EP and all the stuff packs except H&M installed.  I downloaded some clothes and objects and they didn't show up but some others did, like those from MTS2.  What do I do?  Should I use Clean Pack Installer?  I'm really desperate.  I restarted my game a second time and it still didn't show up.

First, make sure you have the meshes. It's possible you missed some when you were downloading them. I find I do that sometimes, especially if down in the bottom of the post it says in tiny letters "you must install this mesh here" or something like that.

Second, make sure you have the last version of the CEP (Colour Enabler Package)

And third, double check that anything you've installed doesn't require you to have H&M. Not all creators are good about mentioning this tidbit, so you might find you have to contact some of them and ask.

I have all the meshes and I have the CEP and I know what I downloaded didn't need H&M.

As I mentioned, not all creators are good about mentioning what sp or eps you need. If your downloads aren't showing up, it's invariably for one of those three reasons.

I still say I did everything because most of the stuff I download only requires the base game.

Well for some reason the clothing has showed up so the objects most likely will.  I don't know what made it happen.

I think I know.... it's probably because the game can be remedial at times.  :laugh:  It's been happening to a lot of people over the past few months.  Sometimes it suddenly works, other times it stays the same, even after deleting the .cache files.  I guess the game overall is fickle like that.  :dontknow:

Did you check to make sure your custom content is enabled? I noticed the last time I added an expansion pack that it got reset to the default of being disabled.

Oh yes it is.  I haven't added an expansion pack since I bought Bon Voyage when it first came out.

Okay, that was the most obvious problem I could think of, and just wanted to make sure that wasn't it.
