generally in the Mac section we leave them open, since someone might come along later with some updated information or a better solution.  I generally know my way around a Mac, but I prefer to let people who use Macs only have the final say.

I like The Unarchiver better than stuffit.  I tend to get less hiccups and unzipping with it.
