Help!!! My sims are dark!!!

Hello. I just got the Bon Voyage ep and now some of my sims heads are turning dark. By heads I mean like when you click on something and the head pops up with all the options. Also the little thumbnail pictures that you click on to control that sim. Its like they are all in shadows. How do I fix it??

Since you just got this EP, make sure to get the latest patch from the official ts2 site as well since that helps correct alot of things in the game.

Some of my sims are dark in their thumbnails, and some custom content is also. I have updated with patches but to no avail. I find that with the sims if I change their hair or makeup sometimes that helps. Other than that, I have just accepted it as a problem I cannot solve. If you have any specific answer for this I'd love to hear it!

Yeah the patch did not help, but occasionally if I change their appearance it helps. I guess it's not really that big of a deal, since the actual sims are fine and it doesn't affect gameplay.
