This mod stops all sims from walking away from all stoves/grills while they are cooking. I made this because every time the headmaster would come over for dinner my sims would be cooking & the second I wasn’t looking they would walk off to do something else & burn the food.

Thank goodness for this one. I get so sick of my sims taking off and causing fires and burning the food. Thanx

Thanks for this. Smiley

Coincidentally, this reminds me of something funny that happened in my game. One of my sims got up in the morning and she put some put some of the toaster pastry things into the oven to cook...

About that time, her carpool arrived and she left for work! It wasn't but about 20 sim minutes later that the stove caught on fire. lol Thankfully, I had a smoke detector in the kitchen and nothing was badly damaged. Smiley

It is so annoying when they walk away to do something else! I was in my room the other day and my sister was playing and she had 2 fires because her sim had walked away twice! He burned a grilled cheese and then left for work with his tv dinner in the oven!

Thank you for making this mod...my sims make me want to scream when they walk away with something in or on the stove.

Thanks -- I usually catch the action in time to cancel it, but this will be useful in bigger and/or busier houses. Smiley

Squinge, at first I thought I forgot to thank you for this..... but then I realized the topic was much older then recent...... but THEN I realized this was an update so I DID forget to thank you!

So...... thanks for this. Sims are just too stupid sometimes (ok, most times. They wouldn't survive without us)!

Ooops sorry I bumped an old thread.  I went on a Downloads folder cleaning mission over the weekend and realised my hack folder was 99% full with Squinges hacks (with the exception of the Insimenator, baby lecture and no playable shoppers).  I realised I never thanked anyone for making the hacks.  Lets face it, I could play without custom hair, clothes and objects but I don't see the point in playing without hacks.  Sims are stupid, they need things like these to keep them inline.
