Anyone figure out how to get the genie yet?

I'm confused how to get him.

I haven't played it yet myself- but my 16 yr old is being the "tester" and he says:

You need to have a really high lifetime aspiration level and have HIGH enthusiasm in more than one hobby (the more the better).

HOWEVER- he used a cheat to max out his skills, hobby enthusiasm, etc, and the genie didn't show up- so he tried again without the cheat- and got a genie.

So- I guess you have to get there without cheats.

I'm going to make sure my "test subject's" aspiration and skills are already high before I install so they can concentrate on hobbies when I have the EP.  I thought it was more random than that.  I guess we'll see.
