These are my notes on how the
Play/Stop Sound Event primitive is used. This is by no means a complete set of instructions for this primitive, but a work in progress.
Primitive: Play/Stop Sound Event (0x0017)
Text List: 0x00004132 - Sounds
ex. #1• Operand 0 is the sound event string ID to be called in Text List 4132.
• Operand 5 starts or stops the sound event - setting this operand to 2 starts the sound event and 42 stops the sound event. I think that stopping the sound event is only necessary for looping sound events.
