Alrighty now, its just crashing in general. Would a bad mesh make it crash in CAS? Cause it appears that CAS is the main thing crashing.

TempDBSegmentPackedFile is created when the computer crashes with the BSOD for sure and possibly other crashes (been so long since I've done anything to cause a crash).  They are save to delete.  FYI, these files can be used by Microsoft Tech Support to determine why the crash occurred and possibly come up with a fix.  They will not cause the game to crash, but are a result of the system crashing.

Game crashes, and system crashes while in game, are usually caused by meshes, not hacks/mods.  You've downloaded some clothing, hair, objects, or furniture that have a mesh that is not compatible with your game, or that became corrupted somehow.  If the crash occurs in CAS or Bodyshop only, then it's probably a clothing/hair mesh.  If it's happening in build or buy, then probably an object/furniture mesh.

The only way to find the bad meshes is by trial and error.

There's many threads that have described the binary search.  This is the best method to locate the bad meshes.

I've seen these before but they were NOT 0kb, they were like freaken a monstrous 200,000 KB!!  They are doing nothing special short of taking up all the room! Is it safe to delete those huge ones too?
