I'll probably get it 3 or so years after it comes out. Really depends on how fun it looks to me. :\

I'm looking forward to sims 3, cause I've gotten tired with ts2, and I'm ready for a change. So I plan on getting it sometime whenever it comes out.

I think someone found a link earlier for a pre-order and it actually has a date of March of '09. So we have a year to get used to the idea. The way their dates run it could be released as early as August, so I was thinking they'd go for a marketing ploy of Christmas. With the pre-oder I think we can pretty much go with that date for release, unless something pushes it back.

I think I'm going to stick with TS2 for a while, I have a lot of time and money tied up in that game and I just don't want to throw it to the side like I did with TS1. I still have that collection and I can't even play it, maybe I can give it to somebody or something.

I'll get it once the anti-blur hack and nude skins come out. Smiley

I was all exited about the sims 3 although I bought the sims 2 and all the packs less than a year ago... But now I'm trying to see everything there is on the site and it's slow and won't load pages that show nothing but things that have already been published in magazines... So I'm thinking... These people can't get a site ready on time... And the'll make it with a game???

I went to the official website and was not impressed. Screen shots and blurbs of what the new game is going to do.
Promises of heaven on earth..and no real information. Just teasing us, and not helping us make up our minds-and you can sign up for the pre-release, of course!
Right. Caveat Emptor, I think!

I'm only going to buy it if win2K users are able to play it.  I mean- last time I trusted something designed for XP/Vista users (I got a tip from my dad that XP programs can work on 2K) I got completely screwed over.

Simcity Societies.  Damn you, EA and GetSystemWow64DirectoryW.

I'm interested. It would have been nice to have had some real facts on the TS3 web site though. A release date, some system spec's, that sort of thing.
If it really is a year away I can't get too excited, who knows what will happen by then. But I'm definately interested.
