Contest entering in Freetime help plz.

ok i also know how to enter the food contest, special lot or community lot yah.

but is it the same for all other contests? my sim wants to win a video game competition and i swore i saw it as an option on his computer onetime but now i can't seem to get it. i honestly can't remember if it was on a community lot or not.. so like yea,

so thats pretty much my question, How do you enter a video game competition?

I usually just chose the option 'join video game competition' on their computer at home. if you do not get this option, the sim may have lost interest points in the games category. be sure he plays a lot, either SSX3 or Sims 3 on his computer, or joins any other games he can to earn points.
ifou know he has enough points and the option still doesnt pop up, I would take him to the community lot, the one for games (sorry, dont recall the name) and let him join a contest over there!
