I hate the music too... I turn the sound off whenever it's loading or in buy mode. The BV stuff sucks. It's all so unoriginal -any 'new' music that comes with EP's is badly mixed from the base game! Argh! It's worse than the original. How do you disable it?? Pretty much the only radio station I have on is the shopping one... I never played sims 1 (well, on xbox) but the music is pretty. Cheesy

There has always been the ability to put your own music in the Sims games.



Just rip MP3 copies from your favorite CDs (perfectly legal as long as it is for your own use and not for sharing) and insert them into the appropriate folders.

P.S. I almost used a picture from the movie The Killer Shrews

I didn't mind its many iterations up until Bon Voyage, at which point I got pretty tired of it.

It's okay but it gets annoying after awhile. I generally play with music off.
