Please Help-I don't know how to properly install my inteenmater thingy.

I went to the link you guys gave and hit dowload and it downloaded to my computer, but I don't know how to get it to open or run. I did the mydoc/ea/sims/whatever else they told me to do, but it's not working. This makes me want to kick my own shin for not being able to do something so simple.

You need to have a basic understanding of how to install custom content in your game before you go experimenting with InTeen.  If you open the Installation Guide that comes with the InTeenimater, you'll find several links about how to install content in The Sims 2.  You'll find several FAQ's to this effect on this website as well.  I suggest you start there (and perhaps with a smaller mod).
