Help! Deleted my modulat stairs text!

I was having problems with my game crashing in build mode after installing some custom modular stairs which I needed for a downloaded lot.
like a fool I deleted the modular stairs text file thinking that the game would regenerate it, like it does with some other files.
Now my game just freezes up when I click on the stairs icon in build mode?
is there any way I can get this text file back?
I don't want install all my games again, I have all the expansion packs. boo hoo

go to my documents then go to the ea games folder then sims2 folder and take out all folders but leave the download folder where it is and if that dont work reinstall the stairs from the website that you got it from like http://modthesims2.com/download.php?f=409&showType=2mts2

Thanks Chaos, I don't mean I deleted just the downloaded custom text, but all the other original text as well!
But I have just remembered, I have the full sims folder backed up, so they should be in there.

GroovyGran here is the file from The Sims 2

place it in the folder here:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\TSData\Res\Catalog\Scripts

assming C: is the primary install drive for your programmes

If you have Scriptorum installed - use the file in WITH_SCRIPTORUM.RAR

If you do not have Scriptorum installed - use the file in WITHOUT_SCRIPTORUM.RAR
