Story Idea - Should I Do It?

Hey, I have an idea for a story for me to do, i'm just wondering if people will be intrested.

It will probably be called '80 Days Around The World' yes I know that's been done as a book and a movie but now i'm deciding to do it or not.

Okay, so here's a quick summary.

Different groups of young-adults will have a competetion to race around the world in 80 days. I will be focusing on one team and maybe mentioning some of the competition.
It'll probably be about 8 chapters (10 days, per chapter = 80) plus seperate intros for the different characters in the team. So maybe a total of 13, 14 or 15 chapters all together.
Each chapter may have a minimum of 5 pics and a maximum of 10 or 12.

Now, here's three questions for you...

How much characters should be in one group; 4, 5, or 6?

If you picked 5 what will have more? girls or boys?

Would you be intrested?

Also, each new chapters, I may be asking ideas on what country I will be doing the chapters on.

I agree with 6.  That will give you a nice diverse group of personalities to work with.  I think this sounds like an original idea, and I would certainly give it a chance.

I'd say about six, but it depends on the characters you make.

This could be fun to read, but it is just a race? Or with various challenges?
And who is setting it up, and why? And... and... and...
